At Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla's 40th anniversary celebration, they proved it once again.The designer duo hosted a grand fashion showcase at their new palatial store in Mumbai on September 6, celebrating four decades of their eponymous luxury fashion label. The rich crimson drape featured intricate tone-on-tone geometric embroidery along the border and pallu, paired with a matching long-sleeved blouse. She accessorised the look with statement jewellery, including a dramatic necklace and earrings, while keeping her hair in soft, cascading waves. Nita Ambani dazzles in red. It was a cinched embellished vest jacket teamed with a fitted mid-length skirt. So chic, we must add. Her outfit was covered in intricate embroidery (again, tone-on-tone featuring shades of ivory and silver). She paired the look with a dazzling choker and matching earrings. Her voluminous, open hair added an effortless touch to the otherwise opulent look. Radhika Merchant’s look was all about blending contemporary fashion with traditional festive dressing. She wore a heavily embroidered white and purple ensemble featuring intricate floral motifs. To add another pop of colour, she added some ogleworthy emerald jewellery pieces: a statement necklace, a massive ring and a pair of stunning earrings.Shloka Mehta went the classic ivory-and-gold route. Her pick for the glamorous evening was a golden blouse teamed with a pair of flared pants and a matching dupatta. She too wore emerald jewels to complete the look. The pops of green added just the right amount of contrast to her monochromatic ensemble. Together, they packed an unmissable fashion punch at the event.The Ambani ladies’ attendance at the gala was hardly surprising, given their close association with the designer duo. Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla is co-owned by its founding designers, Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla, alongside Reliance Brands Limited (RBL), which holds a 51 per cent majority stake. The Ambani women frequently turn to the designers for festive and wedding wear. In fact, Isha Ambani, Shloka Mehta and Radhika Merchant each wore Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla lehengas for their respective weddings.
