FORMER WIMBLEDON champion Pat Cash has announced his engagement to his glamorous singer partner. Cash, 61, triumphed in the 1987 final in south-west London over Czech competitor Ivan Lendl. And things have clearly only gotten more serious since then, with Cash revealing their engagement on social media on Sunday. He shared a post announcing the big news to his 34,000 followers on Instagram. He wrote alongside a picture of the pair: “Every now and then, life can surprise you in the very best way. “I’m so incredibly lucky to know that through an amazing string of coincidences I found my soulmate. “I can’t help but believe God had it all planned to perfection. She said yes.” Boris Becker was among the friends and family giving the couple their well wishes in the comments. She sings vocals for her band Chocolate Charlie, who have previously performed as part of her new beau’s show ‘the Pat Cash Experience.’ The band’s site says Hodson herself has performed with the likes of Westlife, Danii Minogue and Saint Etienne. The High Wycombe-based masseuse has worked with Cash as far back as 2023 through her brand 8 Elements massage. She has also worked with tennis pros Kayla Day and Li Tu, as well as the Enduro Motorsports GT racing team. She joins Cash’s family, which includes four children, the first born when he was just 21.
