Vijayasai Reddy said on Wednesday (August 19, 2026) that he would float a new political party in Andhra Pradesh. It ends 19 months of speculation about his return to public life.He said so after praying at the Tirumala temple with his family for the venture. He served there from 2016 until he resigned in January 2025.He contested the Nellore Lok Sabha seat in 2024 and lost to the TDP’s Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy.
