Former Oklahoma INF Jaxon Willits signs contract with Angels after 2026 MLB Draft

He was selected in the fifth round of the MLB Draft. Willits signed for $650,000, which is up from the slot value of $526,600 as the 141st overall pick. It’s the latest milestone for the former OU infielder, who was the College World Series Most Outstanding Player before declaring for the draft. Willits helped propel Oklahoma to a national championship as part of an impressive junior season in Norman.
