Former Mr Olympia bodybuilder Dwayne Quamina, 40, dies weeks after eerie post as fans pay tribute to ‘devoted father’

A BELOVED bodybuilder and Navy veteran has died aged 40 – just weeks after telling fans to “stop taking life for granted”. Dwayne Quamina, known as “King Q”, passed away suddenly on Sunday as tributes pour in for the “devoted father and proud veteran”. In a now hauntingly poignant message, he told fans last month: “Stop taking life for granted go all the way and have zero regrets when it’s all over!” The muscleman posted workout videos and motivational content to his more than 114,000 Instagram followers. Just five days ago – after coming sixth in the Atlanta Pro competition, he wrote: “‘If it was easy, everybody would do it. The best quality you can have is the ability to pick yourself up and go again no matter how many times it take. Watch what comes next!” In 2018 he finished tenth place in the Mr Olympia tournament – a contest for the world’s greatest bodybuilders. He also worked as an online coach – and leaves behind his wife, Leah, and two children. Tributes have poured in for the father, with one saying his loss left an “unimaginable void in the hearts of all who knew and loved him”.
