The Frenchman is said to have slammed two offers from Ligue 1, while reports also indicate that Al-Ittihad Tripoli have been flirting with the veteran ace. They offered Martial a huge net salary of £8.6m over two years with a jaw dropping signing bonus of £4.3m. If the star had opted to sign, he could have pocketed £12.9m for his services until autumn 2028. The staggering sum slam is a huge hint that he’s hoping to revive his career rather than cash-in early. And Malaga may be that opportunity. The Spanish side were promoted from LaLiga 2 in the 2025/26 season after finishing fourth and beating both Las Palmas and Almeria in the play-offs.
