Forgotten Chelsea winger Diego Moreira ‘agrees £47.5m transfer to Ruben Amorim’s AC Milan’ after being sold for £1.7m

EX-CHELSEA player Diego Moreira has reportedly agreed a stunning £47.5MILLION move to AC Milan. The former Blues winger, 22, is set to join Ruben Amorim’s side from sister club Strasbourg in a huge deal. Romano added that Moreira only wanted to join Milan despite receiving approaches from clubs in Germany and England. The staggering transfer comes just two years after Chelsea sold the Belgian international, who made only a single appearance for the club, to Strasbourg for just £1.7m. Moreira had joined the Blues from Benfica on a free transfer in 2023 but struggled to make an impact at Stamford Bridge. He made just one senior appearance for Chelsea, coming off the bench in a Carabao Cup win over AFC Wimbledon, and also spent time on loan at Lyon. Moreira was then shipped to Strasbourg in 2024, where he rebuilt his career and established himself as a highly-rated attacking talent. His rise has now convinced Milan to splash out on the versatile wide man as Amorim continues reshaping his squad at the San Siro.
