MP CM Mohan Yadav pays tributes to Aman and Lav who were killedalong with their uncle, Ashok, near Gwalior’s Sheetla Mata TempleBHOPAL: For 12 years, Vidyaram Tyagi and his family turned to faith. They visited temple after temple and performed rituals, praying for a child. When those prayers were finally answered, he became a father to two sons and a daughter. Aman and Lav were the children of that long wait. On Sunday, both were taken from him.Aman (15) and Lav (13) were killed along with their uncle, Ashok, when a speeding truck went out of control and ploughed into devotees near Gwalior's Sheetla Mata Temple Sunday. Fifteen people died.Vidyaram (55) is originally from Har Gangoli in Jaura of MP's Morena and has been living in Gadaipura (Gwalior) for some time."For the family, Aman and Lav were not just sons. They were the answer to 12 years of rituals and prayers. Every year of that wait is what makes the loss so hard to bear. The family had waited years for the joy of raising children, and the crash took two of them in a single night," said a local.Ashok, Vidyaram's younger brother, was a labourer at a private factory in Gadaipura and deeply attached to his nephews. When Aman and Lav insisted on going with him to the temple, he first refused. Their repeated requests eventually persuaded him. Hours later, all three were among the dead.Relatives took the bodies to Jaura. The sight of three funeral biers from one household left relatives and villagers inconsolable. The crash claimed other families too. Pawan Rathore and his friend Hemant Rathore, of Shivnagar who worked at the same factory, also died. According to their neighbour Ganeshiram, Hemant died on the spot. Pawan succumbed later. A wheel had run over his leg and he was bleeding heavily, yet he managed to call his sister, who lived nearby, and other relatives to tell them about the accident. His condition worsened before his family could reach him.For his relatives, that brief conversation is the last memory they have of him.
