The first free title arriving on Xbox Game Pass in November 2026 is a hidden gem that was released in 2024, and you may want to check it out – especially if you’re looking for something to play with your friends. There are several different options to pick from if you’re a member of Microsoft’s subscription service right now. Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade joined Xbox Game Pass on October 29, giving players access to a 90-hour JRPG that is considered a 10/10 title among fans of the genre and the original. Of course, in addition to the free JRPG masterpiece on Xbox Game Pass, many other titles joined the catalog in October. Just on October 29, the same day FF7 Remake Intergrade was added, the service also received Mouthwashing, Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted, and Terrible Lizards. This, of course, comes after a series of other additions to the catalog throughout the month. Now, we’re already looking at November, and while Microsoft has not officially announced Wave 1 yet, we do know about the first game arriving next month, and you may want to play it. As part of an update to Xbox Game Pass’ catalog in November, the subscription service will now offer players the opportunity to play Pit of Goblin for free. The official announcement was made by Microsoft earlier this month on Xbox Wire, where it announced the Wave 2 additions for October. Turns out, however, that Pit of Goblin is the very first game arriving on Game Pass in November, and there’s a lot to look forward to. Before everything else, however, you’ll need to make sure you have access to it. According to the official announcement, Pit of Goblin will be playable on Xbox Series X/S, PC, and via cloud gaming. The title is becoming available for members of the Premium, Ultimate, and PC Game Pass tiers, despite the fact that its arrival represents, technically, a day-one release. The game has been available since 2024 on other platforms, though in early access, and its release on November 3 coincides with its addition to the Game Pass catalog. Even so, Pit of Goblin won’t be limited to Ultimate and PC Game Pass members. Pit Of Goblin Is Like R.E.P.O Pit of Goblin is an online horror co-op that will have you scavenging through dungeons while avoiding traps and running away from monsters – not unlike R.E.P.O., considered one of the best horror co-op games to play with friends. With its early access release on Steam, Pit of Goblin has obtained an 84% Positive review status from players. Those who played it praise the entertaining gameplay loop and the ability to enjoy it with friends. If you enjoy these types of co-op extraction games with a hint of horror, be sure to mark your calendar. Of course, several other titles will be announced for the service during the month of November once we get there, but it will be a rather curious month, as it is also the busiest and biggest one of 2026. In November, we’re getting the Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake for Nintendo Switch 2 and, of course, the release of GTA 6, so it’s unclear what to expect from Xbox Game Pass during a period where most of the attention is elsewhere.
