The first look reveals that the highly anticipated second season of Scrubs will see another character from the original series making a comeback. Elliot's (Sarah Chalke) ex-boyfriend Sean, who is portrayed by Scott Foley, can be seen in the new trailer, confirming his return to the franchise. Check out the trailer below: Foley regularly appeared throughout multiple seasons of Scrubs, with Sean becoming one of Elliot’s most significant relationships aside from J.D. (Zach Braff). The character was later romantically involved with Kim Briggs, played by Elizabeth Banks, during Scrubs season 8. Kim is also the mother of J.D.’s son, Sam, though there has been no confirmation that Banks will return for the upcoming installment. Sean is far from the only returning character featured in ABC's Scrubs season 2 teaser. Judy Reyes will return as Carla, John C. McGinley is back as Dr. Cox, and Christa Miller will reprise her role as Jordan. Braff, Chalke, and Donald Faison (Turk) will still be the stars of the revival in its upcoming second chapter. Ava Bunn, who plays Tosh, is expected to become a series regular.
