Firefighters responding to blaze at Gloriavale Christian Community

Firefighters are tackling a blaze at a building at the Gloriavale Christian Community on the South Island's West Coast.Fire and Emergency says it received a report shortly before 9pm on Friday night.One crew arrived to find a building at the site well involved on fire. The hostels and manufacturing premises in the community were not affected, a FENZ spokesperson said.When the fire was reported, the caller said everyone had been evacuated from the building, FENZ said.Emergency services were not aware of any injuries.There were four fire trucks and two tankers on site late on Friday night.
