A viral video shows municipal employees washing MLA Ramniwas Shah's private car.BHOPAL: A viral video purportedly showing two municipal employees washing MLA Ramniwas Shah’s private car with water from a fire tender at a municipal housing premises at Singrauli in Madhya Pradesh has put the legislator in a spot.Following widespread criticism, Shah said he had no prior knowledge of the incident.He said that after the matter came to his notice, he questioned his driver, who told him that the water pump at the mayor’s residence had become defunct and the fire tender had arrived there to fill the water tank.The MLA said his car had just returned from Bhopal and was to be used for attending several important meetings. His driver, therefore, decided to wash it but did so without seeking his permission.Shah, MLA from Singrauli, insisted that the fire tender had not been called specifically to wash his vehicle.
