Final Fantasy 7 LEGO Set With Cloud, Tifa, & Aerith Looks Absolutely Incredible

LEGO has delved into several video game properties in the past, including an awesome Ocarina of Time set and the ever-popular Animal Crossing sets, so it's not completely outrageous to see a proposed idea for one focused on Square Enix's Final Fantasy 7. The Midgar set, which includes minifigures for characters like Cloud, Aerith, and Tifa, looks absolutely amazing. We can see Cloud on his motorbike, Sephiroth in his one-winged angel pose, and a chocobo made of LEGOs. All of that sounds like a dream come true, right? Now you can understand why so many FF7 and LEGO fans are excited. The set, which can be viewed in the image above, can be seen in full over on the official LEGO Ideas webpage. Designed by hachiroku24 and called "Midgar, City of Mako From Final Fantasy VII," the set currently has over 1000 supporters. The top of the set is the Shinra building, but the iconic locations in the LEGO set don't stop there. You can find 7th Heaven, the bar and hideout for AVALANCHE, along with members like Jessie, Biggs, and Wedge. You can see Aerith's flower garden at the church. The proposed LEGO set also includes minifigures for Barret, Yuffie, a Shinra soldier, and Chocobo Sam. So, while it doesn't include every playable party member from the original Final Fantasy 7, there are minifigures of a good chunk of them. You can also build the Hardy-Daytona Motorbike for Cloud, which is a nice bonus. You can check out the fan-made minifigures below. This is honestly an incredible LEGO set idea, so here's hoping it will become a reality. Assuming LEGO can get the rights from Square Enix, this would be amazing for FF7 fans. There's been a rise in licensed LEGO sets and in Final Fantasy 7 merch, so it's not completely unreasonable to think this mash-up could actually happen in the future. With FF7 Revelation set for a 2027 release, a companion LEGO set (or sets, if we really want to get greedy) would be a dream come true.
