If it did leave the mark when you played it back in the day, there's a new physical release that you'll almost certainly want to be aware of. Over on the official Square Enix website, you should be able to find the product listing for the FINAL FANTASY X LP Vinyl Set — Eternal Calm. The two LP releases immortalize many of the game's most recognizable songs, and it could serve as the perfect backing track to another playthrough. In confirming a little about what fans can expect from the release, the developer shared the following insight: "We are pleased to announce the release of a new analog disc set for FINAL FANTASY X in celebration of its upcoming 25th anniversary. This set contains a specially curated selection of 20 songs from the original game's music. The jacket features commemorative art by Tetsuya Nomura celebrating the 25th anniversary, while the disc itself boasts clear coloration that evokes images of the seaside, creating a centerpiece steeped in the world setting of FINAL FANTASY X wherever you choose to display it. The product also contains an .mp3 download code so that you are able to enjoy the music even if you do not have a record player on hand." The MP3 download code actually includes a much broader range of songs from the game, with 89 songs featured, which is basically everything aside from Zenbu Hanashite Okitainda (I Want to Tell You Everything) and Omoidashite Kudasai (Please Remember). The reason for the exclusion of those two hasn't been shared at the time of writing. The set is priced at £79.99/$89.99, and it's currently available for pre-order, with a release date of November 2026 currently put forward for its dispatch for customers. That is subject to change at any point though, so that's something to be aware of before buying. That's obviously not the only release that Final Fantasy fans have to look forward to, with the series going through a real renaissance right now overall. The concluding part of the Final Fantasy VII Remake trilogy is on the way soon, with the release date for that currently set as April 8 2027, while HD-2D adventure Final Fantasy Resonance is launching later this year, on October 22.
