Renowned actor Robert Pattinson is one of those people, and has gushed about the original game in several interviews. He's one of the most famous Final Fantasy 7 fans out there, but he's not really up to date on modern gaming, which is what has made his reaction to finding out Final Fantasy 7 is now a trilogy all the more amazing. His response was very much "what the heck are you talking about?" "It's a trilogy of Final Fantasy?," says Pattinson, very bemused. "So it's Final Fantasy 7 one, two, three? Interesting. I guess it was a 3-disc game when I played it. Yeah, I'd love to." It's a goofy reaction, and one that is quite surprising and drives home just how disconnected Pattinson is from the industry considering we're approaching the release of the third game.
