(John Benson/cleveland.com)John Benson/cleveland.comSpeaking of things new this year, there are changes to the normal Summerfest schedule due to construction on W. 210 Street. “We definitely have some bumps in the road due to the construction happening,” she said. “It’s kind of a tough year. We’ll have a little bit more limited parking this year and there’s no car show. “Also, we’re not doing the parade, which is really the biggest thing. It’s only for this year.” Another change involves the Rotary 5k (8 a.m. July 25), which instead of traversing through the community will be staged entirely at Bohlken Park. “Safety is what’s most important,” she said. “We don’t need people trying to cross roads where half of the street is all ripped up. “It’s just going to be a little tough this year, but hopefully people still come out. Maybe they’ll carpool more.“It’s still going to be a wonderful community event.”Read more news from the Sun Post Herald here.
