Fenty Beauty’s latest foundation arrives in Barbados with 50 new shades

Barbadian beauty shoppers now have more complexion options with the launch of Fenty Beauty’s new Pro Filt’r Fluid Flex Foundation at selected Bridgetown Duty Free stores on Friday. The foundation is now available at the Broad Street, Sunset Crest and Sheraton locations. At the Broad Street store, makeup artists helped customers find their shade, as Fenty Beauty introduced 50 new shades with different undertones. Shopper Christina Wade, who tried the foundation before buying it, said she was impressed with the new addition to the Fenty Beauty line. Christina Warde (LE) “I’m always a Fenty girly… Always a Fenty girly.” The new Pro Filt’r Fluid Flex Foundation is described as a natural matte, long-wear foundation offering medium, buildable coverage. According to Fenty Beauty, the formula is designed to move with the skin while resisting sweat, humidity, transfer and oxidation. The product was developed over almost three years, with the company saying it used more than 30 prototypes and 800 hours of development, drawing on more than seven years of consumer feedback. Unlike the original Pro Filt’r foundation range, the new line was developed from scratch with a focus on refining undertones and adding more neutral shades to make it easier to find a match. (LE)
