Federico Chiesa: Liverpool star reveals transfer latest amid uncertain future

The Italian moved to Anfield in 2024, coming in as ex-manager Arne Slot’s first signing. Since then, however, he has struggled for regular first-team minutes on Merseyside, and last term, he played 26 times in the Premier League, but made just one start. Liverpool finished fourth in the table in a campaign where Slot was surprisingly sacked, having won the title in his debut season. Chiesa scored just three goals in all competitions last season, but he is hoping for a fresh start under new boss Andoni Iraola.
