Fears for Jacqueline Jossa after ‘Romantic’ night with charmer ex Dan Osborne months after she ‘quit for good’

WHEN Jacqueline Jossa finally ended her troubled marriage to Dan Osborne, the EastEnders star defiantly cut ties with her ex to avoid any chance of reconciliation. However, five months after “calling it quits for good”, the former couple spent the evening together – and while Jacqueline’s loved ones aren’t happy about it, it’s not what you might think. The co-parents took their two young daughters to Wembley Stadium to see American singer Bruno Mars on his sellout The Romantic Tour. Jacqueline and Dan – who had taken his son from a previous relationship earlier in the week – shared snaps from the event showing their girls dressed up in Bruno Mars merchandise. However, they both avoided posting pictures of one another from the That’s What I Like hitmaker’s gig – and are still not following each other on social media. A friend of the ex-couple told The Sun: “It’s been a few months since their split went public and Jac has been keeping Dan at a distance as much as possible. “When the opportunity came up to go with him and the kids to Bruno Mars, she couldn’t resist – even though her friends aren’t happy about her getting closer to Dan again. “They’re worried she’s letting him back in with hopes of rekindling. Throughout their relationship, Dan has got itchy feet and wanted to be single. Then, he’ll suddenly have regrets and miss the family life they have together. “Jac has found it difficult to break away with him for good and it doesn’t help knowing that he’ll always come back. “Her loved ones think this is what Dan does – keeps Jac close to make her think there’s a chance with them again. “He’s a charmer so it’s a clever move taking her to listen to love songs.” The mum of two with her daughters Mia and Ella Credit: Instagram Dan was there with them the same evening Credit: Instagram In March, The Sun revealed Jacqueline had finally ended her marriage to Dan after a tumultuous 13 years together. A couple of months later, Dan grew close to fitness model Etila Santiago while on holiday in Miami – after bonding over their mutual support of Arsenal. Meanwhile Jacqueline threw herself into work on EastEnders – turning to her Branning family cast for support. Having been on the BBC soap since she was 17, Jacqueline has built up a strong fan base as bolshy Lauren Branning. Some of her supporters turned on Dan after the split – and this week he was forced to hit out at online trolls over the sick abuse. “I find myself having to delete negative comments from people on pictures of me and my kids. “I don’t understand why anyone should have to do that, and also I do appreciate the nice comments of course. “There are people who say thing like, ‘well done for stepping up’ or being a good dad or whatever. I don’t ever want praise for that because I think that’s what every man should do for their kids. “All of us are different, all of us are cracking on with our own lives, doing our own thing, we’re all from different thoughts and different beliefs.” Dan concluded his rant by telling his viewers he felt better “after letting it off my chest” and thanked his true supporters. The backlash came after he posted a snap of him with his son Teddy outside Wembley Stadium. He wrote: “Making memories with my best friend!” A week later, he posted pictures of him and his daughters back at the venue, telling fans: “It was too good!! HAD to go again & take the girls! Whattt a show!!” Meanwhile Jacqueline shared a few images from inside the concert, writing: “Bruno was amazing. He’s a modern day MJ in my opinion.” Jacqueline first met Dan at an awards ceremony in 2013 and the TV stars started dating soon after. The EastEnders actor fell pregnant a year later and tied the knot at Delamere Manor, in Cheshire, in 2017, documenting the wedding with a glossy photoshoot for OK! magazine. After their secret split this year, Dan is believed to have moved out of their family home in February to live in a house he bought behind Jac’s back in 2024. We told how he later got cold feet about making the break permanent and going through with the divorce — but Jacqueline stood her ground. Our insider added: “Everyone will have their opinion on what Jac and Dan do, but it’s positive they have got to a place now where they’re on good terms. “Co-parenting the best they can for the girls has always been their top priority.” The Sun contacted Dan and Jac’s reps for comment.
