Fearne Cotton has hit out at the 'insane' school WhatsApp group as she admits she struggles to 'cope' with the huge amount of messages she receives. The TV and podcast star, 45, shares son Rex, 13, and Honey, 11, with ex-husband Jesse Wood, 49, with her eldest currently in secondary school. Speaking on the latest episode of her Happy Place podcast, Fearne opened up on the 'overwhelming' secondary school experience, remarking that she's bombarded with so much information that she might as well attend school with her child.The conversation around modern parenting came as a caller named Jennifer shared her distress about being unable to cope with her child attending secondary school, with Fearne admitting she knew how she felt. She shared: 'It is overwhelming sometimes. I think we do really, really worry that our kids will struggle' before noting that there are many support systems in place these days, much more than there were when she was at school.Hitting out at the constant WhatsApp notifications, she continued: 'The thing that I know we won't cope with, Jennifer, are the WhatsApp groups, the school WhatsApp groups. Why? Why are they pinging all day long?
