Spinoffs and continued interest in Fallout Shelter have done wonders for its reputation, as has the acclaim for the first two seasons of the TV series. But eventually, fans will want a cold-hard release. We might be many years away from seeing Fallout 5, but there are plenty of opportunities to deliver with existing games. After all, The Witcher 3 is getting a DLC over a decade after its release. Recently, Bethesda has been teasing Fallout Week, which includes a new Fallout 4 releasetoday. Now, thanks to the official Fallout account on X, we have details on what the Fallout Week celebrations actually entail. Bethesda has announced the release of FEVer Dreams for Fallout 4, which tells a brand-new story set in the game's universe. In FEVer Dreams, you'll get Brian Delaney and Courtenay Taylor reprising their roles from the game, set to the tune of an "escape room-style dungeon." New equipment and weapons are in tow, and the story is driven. Here's the rundown from Bethesda: "Something has reactivated the military research base known as Camp Jefferson. There you find yourself trapped - unarmed, poisoned, and under the effect of a hallucination inducing FEV strain. You'll need to gather equipment, solve puzzles, and fight your way through the secret facility as you race to find a cure. Featuring: Return of the original voice actors – Courtenay Taylor and Brian T. Delaney Escape room style dungeon loaded with puzzles and lore Chance to connect with the mind's eye version of your spouse New equipment (weapon, outfit, armor set) (Seek out a Gutsy robot in the market area of Diamond City to begin the quest "Fever Dreams”.) FEVer Dreams by Kinggath Creations is presented by Bethesda Game Studios." Created by Kinggath Creations and published directly by Bethesda Game Studios, you can find the creation on PC, Xbox Series X, and PS5. It's completely free and part of the Fallout Week celebration, which runs through Friday. Kinggath Creations also gave a statement to celebrate its release on X: "From our roots in Fallout 4 - to working in partnership with BGS alongside returning members of the original cast. Our appreciation for Fallout spans the games, the TV series, and its incredible & ever-growing community: For us, this was a celebration of all things Fallout." Fallout Week isn't over yet. On Wednesday, we're celebrating a partnership, highlighting out-of-game experiences and collaborations in the Fallout world. Then on Thursday, we'll get Fallout 76 info, including the first look at the World Pets update. Then on Friday, October 23 (the actual Fallout Day), Bethesda will celebrate "everything Fallout." While the in-person meetup isn't slated until 2027, Fallout fans are still holding out as they wait for Season 3 of the show and whatever Bethesda and Obsidian have cooking. Once those come out, we can expect spinoffs (and potentially a TV tie-in) as well, so there's plenty more Fallout on the way.
