Among them was a Fallout 3 remaster, which has finally been confirmed alongside another rumored classic. "We know many players want to revisit previous Fallout experiences," Todd Howard said, as reported by GamesIndustry.biz. "While we're not announcing any dates today, we have been working on remasters for both Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas." Fallout 5 Is Now In Development Howard confirmed in the same interview that Fallout 5 has entered pre-production and is being developed in conjunction with The Elder Scrolls 6—however, he assured that TES6 remains the "primary development focus," with the majority of the studio's team working on it. "Fallout 5 remains our long-range destination," Howard said. "And we have multiple Fallout projects in active development right now." One of those projects is the rumored Obsidian Entertainment-developed Fallout, which Howard has finally confirmed. Though there are still no details on what exactly the game will entail.
