FACEBOOK and Instagram are facing global outages, with users reportedly unable to access their accounts or share posts. Please try again in a few minutes.” Thousands have been reporting the outages on the monitoring platform DownDetector, including users from the US, Indonesia and Myanmar. Over 1,500 Instagram users reported difficulties with the picture sharing app at around 9am. Both platforms are owned by the tech media giant Meta.
