Facebook and Instagram go down AGAIN for thousands of users as Meta hit by second outage in 72 hours

FACEBOOK and Instagram have gone down for the second time within 72 hours. A combined total of 3,600 users users flagged the isse with Downdetector, which monitors the status of online services and reports outages in real time. Equally, on Instagram users have moaned about the app and server connection. Frustrated social media users have taken to X, to complain, with one sharing: “Instagram down again gosh.” While another angry user said: “Instagram stop breaking down every three days.” And a third moaned: “Urgh down again.” The popular apps went down on Sunday, leaving users equally as annoyed. At the time, customers complained of being logged out and met with a message telling them their account was “unavailable due to a site issue“.
