F-16 military aircraft from Texas crashes in northern Michigan

Emergency crews are responding to reports of a military aircraft that went down in Michigan on Thursday, according to the Texas Military Department. The F-16 aircraft was on a “routine training mission” from the Air National Guard’s Combat Readiness Training Center in Alpena, Michigan, when an “incident” occurred, according to officials. The pilot safely ejected from the aircraft and was taken to the hospital.
