Experimental Patches Get Nouveau+NVK Working On NVIDIA DGX Spark GB10

Red Hat's David Airlie has managed another open-source graphics engineering feat... Getting the Nouveau reverse-engineered kernel graphics driver and Mesa NVK Vulkan driver running on the GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip with the DGX Spark system. Airlie has finally managed to get the Nouveau+NVK open-source driver stack working on his NVIDIA DGX Spark box with various changes to both Nouveau and NVK. The kernel driver work has involved adapting the Nouveau driver to using the newer NVIDIA R610 firmware,, which alone is a feat as NVIDIA doesn't maintain compatibility for their firmware images across driver releases. Nouveau also needed a number of patches reworking the display code, a number of vRAM and L2 cache handling fixes, and then Spark-specific boot and display support. On the NVK Vulkan driver side were patches for handling its depth/stencil and vRAM differences. This bring-up is around 100 patches and invasive especially with the new firmware requirement. Airlie noted in a blog post that GB10 / DGX Spark support may be more for waiting around until the Nova driver transition.
