Narsipur has threatened young members of a Ganesha Mandal with dire consequences if they take out a procession in front of mosques, burst crackers and play loud music. This is unacceptable. I want to tell that inspector and other police officers that we will defy all such orders. I will go to T. Narsipur and participate in the Ganesha immersion procession. We will take out the procession in front of mosques, burst crackers, play music, and raise slogans. This our country and we will not bow down to any government that follows appeasement policies,’’ he said on Sunday (September 13). He was speaking at a function organised by Ashram Ka Raja Ganesh Mandal in Vijayapura.“The Congress will pay a big price for playing with the sentiments of Hindus, and for its appeasement policies,’’ he said.
