Not a day goes by without KATSEYE being in my orbit. They’re everywhere —performing at every big venue, award show, and fashion show you can think of (and they’re currently on tour right now!). While the girl group is taking over the pop culture conversation, they each have their own stories and personal style.Enter LOUNGE, the major British loungewear brand that started with lingerie before expanding into cozy knits and everyday essentials, all designed to make you feel sexy and comfortable. And with the brand gaining serious traction in the U.S. right now, the timing couldn’t be better: They tapped Daniela Avanzini of KATSEYE as the first-ever face of its new CAST. by LOUNGE campaign. The new series offers a closer look at an it girl in her own element. Here, we get to see a more laid-back side of Daniela as she wears the brand’s viral intimates and loungewear. And honestly, I couldn’t think of a better match. The 22-year-old lifelong dancer turned international icon practically lives in glam looks, which also comes with being a pro at knowing clothes that are comfortable yet easy to live in. Cosmo got the chance to exclusively chat with Daniela about this major moment, her go-to cozy clothes, how she spends her downtime, and stealing her boyfriend’s clothes. You’ve been a professional dancer since you could practically walk, so I trust you’re an expert at finding clothes that are both comfortable and functional. What do you look for in loungewear and intimates? For me, comfort is everything, especially with how much I’m moving around day to day. I love pieces that feel good on, fit well, and still make me feel confident. I think you can absolutely have both comfort and style, and that’s what I love about LOUNGE.My favorite pieces from the brand are the Balconette Bra and the ContourSoftTM Leggings. They’re both essentials that feel simple and classy, but still make a statement. The leggings are buttery soft and really sculpting, while the Balconette is the perfect elevated everyday bra. I LOVE the gorgeous lace and rich berry color.Because you’re in performance looks/costumes all the time, I imagine comfort matters even more when you’re off the clock.I’m all about being comfortable. A matching set, something oversized, and anything cozy I can throw on after a long day are my favorites. Tour life can be so hectic, so having those little comforts makes such a difference. I’m usually reaching for the Fitted-Waist hoodie and matching joggers because they’re the perfect balance of put-together yet off-duty.With tour life being nonstop, how are you spending your off days and making time for yourself amid all the craziness?Tour life can be full-on, so I try to make the most of the little moments I get to myself. Whether that’s catching up on sleep, spending time with the girls, listening to music, or just having a quiet moment to reset, it’s important to find that balance. Even the smallest moments of downtime can make a big difference.LOUNGEHow did the girls react when they found out about your LOUNGE campaign? The girls were so supportive and excited for me! It’s always special being able to share these moments with them, especially when they know how much work goes into everything we do. I loved being part of this campaign, and it was so fun getting to try something a little different and showcase another side of myself.LOUNGEAnd I love that we get to see this side of you. So, how would you describe your personal style when you're offstage? My personal style is definitely cool-chic with a little Y2K influence. I love mixing timeless, effortless pieces. I’m drawn to color and love experimenting with shades, textures, and silhouettes. I like my outfits to feel a little edgy and playful while still being feminine and put-together. Overall, I’d say my style is a mix of vintage-inspired and modern Y2K with my own twist. What’s the one outfit or look that just screams you?Anything low-waisted, especially capris with a fitted top. It’s such an easy outfit, and it feels like me. I’d wear it with a comfortable set underneath, with a few accessories, and finish it off with a tall pump. When I think of cozy clothes, I automatically think of stealing a boyfriend’s sweatshirt. Have you ever stolen a partner’s/crush’s clothes?Yes, all the time! I’m always stealing my boyfriend’s T-shirts and sweatshirts, and now and then, I’ll get a new one to add to my collection. They make the perfect oversized sleep shirts.Lastly, I gotta tell you, you’re my girl crush. I’m obsessed with your vibe, your style, and the way you carry yourself. So I have to ask: Who’s your girl crush? That's so hard because there are so many amazing, beautiful women! But I do love my Cuban girl Ana de Armas.Megan Uy is an associate shopping editor at Cosmopolitan, where she searches for the best products in all things fashion, home, beauty, sex, gifts, and more, so you don’t have to.
