Ex-Yuva Morcha treasurer threatens to make AI-obscene pics of BJP leader; case filed

A 28-year-old BJP leader in Telangana has accused the former national treasurer of the party's youth wing of of threatening to create and circulate AI-generated obscene pictures of her, besides subjecting her to sexual and caste-based abuse.SC Morcha’s social media convener, Hyderabad police have registered a case against Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) national treasurer PM Sai Prasad, also known as ‘Team Sai’, and four others.According to the FIR registered on October 5, the complainant alleged that Sai Prasad and his associates repeatedly harassed, intimidated and threatened her after she ended her association with them in April. She alleged that she was subjected to caste-based and sexually derogatory abuse, and that threats were made against her husband, children and political career.The complainant also alleged that Sai Prasad threatened to create and circulate fabricated or AI-generated obscene images and videos of her. The FIR names Paka Shiva, Rahul, John and Aditya as the other accused. She further alleged that three of the accused visited her residence late at night in August and threatened her and her family. According to the complaint, the harassment and threats continued even after she cut ties with the group.Police have registered a case under relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, the Information Technology Act and the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.
