McCall and wife Tracey bought the six-bedroom farmhouse near Strathaven, Lanarkshire, for £850,000 in 2012. The huge countryside home was listed for offers over £1.275m and has now been marked as sold subject to contract. Sitting across a whopping 28 acres, the estate comes with nine paddocks, a gorgeous trout pond and a 25m by 50m outdoor equestrian arena. There are also two stable blocks with six loose boxes, another barn containing eight more stables and three huge barns. Selling agents described the estate as a “rare opportunity” and said it was ideally suited to equestrian enthusiasts.
