According to local residents, the body was spotted lying along the roadside, triggering panic and concern in the village.After being alerted, police rushed to the spot and began an investigation. Officials said packets and tablets believed to be Sulphas poison were recovered from near the body, raising questions about whether the death was linked to poisoning.A forensic science laboratory (FSL) team also visited the scene to collect evidence and assist in the investigation. The body was later sent to Sasaram Sadar Hospital for post-mortem examination. Police are also checking reports from nearby police station areas to determine whether any missing person complaints had been filed that could be connected to the case.Bikramganj DSP Sindhu Shekhar Singh said preliminary inquiries suggested that the deceased may have been under stress or frustration, though the exact cause of death has not yet been established. “The matter is being investigated from all angles.
