Evri is launching a 10,000 role hiring spree and they’re not just for drivers – here’s how to apply

EVRI is launching a major hiring spree with 10,000 new roles available. The delivery company says the jobs will be available across its network, including thousands of flexible working roles. More than 7,000 jobs on offer are self-employed “community courier” roles. The self-employed couriers will help with delivering regular rounds in the communities where they live, meaning they have flexible earning opportunities close to home. The company said applicants with access large, long-wheel-base van are particularly suited to the role. But it also said you can apply even if you don’t have a van as part of its “no van, no problem” scheme. Evri is also recruiting roles across its wider company, including a network of employees throughout the country who can provide support and coaching for new couriers. Self-employed couriers will have more opportunities to boost their earnings as Evri is expecting to deliver more parcels in the coming years. The company is hoping to increase deliveries by 40% by 2030, up to 1.4billion parcels a year. Most read in Money It has also seen its revenue increase by a huge 29% in the last year. This was partly due to its merger with DHL eCommerce UK. Evri workers can also get a range of benefits, including early access to pay, as well as 24/7 GP appointments and shopping discounts. Eligible couriers can also get a £3,300 contribution over two years towards an electric vehicle.
