Everything We Know About The Nun With A Gun In Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave

She has been seen in outlets such as Trusted Reviews, Kotaku UK, VICE, and more over the years covering everything from the latest releases to major events to in-depth interviews. She loves nothing more than speaking with devs, creatives, voice actors, and so many others about the passion behind their craft and bringing that into the hearts of readers everywhere. I was already eagerly anticipating Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave, but when I saw it has a total diva packing a magical pistol, my hype shot into the stratosphere. Anatolia first appeared in yesterday’s Nintendo Direct and has already taken the internet by storm for one incredibly simple reason — she is packing heat. Fortune’s Weave appears to take place in a relatively grounded setting of swords and sorcery with the occasional mythical creature thrown in for good measure, so obviously the presence of a gun has caught a few folks by surprise. And the fact she pulled right from her armpit hostile with such violent confidence before blasting some fool to pieces is utterly brilliant. I love this girl. Everything We Know About Anatolia In Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave First revealed during this week’s Nintendo Direct, Anatolia appears to be some sort of nun or bride who has left a life of matrimony and religion behind in favour of combat. She holds her magical firearm in a holster on her upper arm, meaning it’s easy to jump into the air, grasp it, and start blasting. Her appearance is instantly impactful, which explains why players are so taken with her already. I love the determined look in her eyes and how she is willing to strike down anyone who crosses her path. But characters in Fire Emblem are rarely blank canvases, and chances are there will come a time in Fortune’s Weave where we recruit her to our cause and, as a consequence, learn way more about her. This will hopefully include where she came from, why she dresses that way, and where on Earth she got such a sick looking gun from. I would like one, it’d make this tournament go down a whole lot smoother. The wiki also adds some additional context to her character by compiling all details from the recent Fire Emblem-dedicated Direct. She’s described as having a cool and mysterious aura while also being a rationalist who doesn’t let her emotions get in the way. If the situation calls for it, she’s the type to shoot first and ask questions later. Her gun is also called Salamander, although I’m curious whether this is a unique weapon or simply one of many firearms we can find in the game. Hell, maybe loads of characters are packing heat? Characters like this can also fold into the main narrative, or in the case of Fortune’s Weave, one of the four distinct paths you choose from at the very beginning. Anatolia can be found duking it out with Dietrich of House Lamine in what looks like a cutscene in one of the more recent trailers, so perhaps she has a bigger role to play than we think. Whatever her role in the game is, I hope it’s comprehensive enough that I get to learn more about her upbringing, personality, and how she might help me triumph in the midst of combat. I can’t get over how fierce her gun purse is. I don’t condone firearms, but god-damn it, I want one so badly. One of my favourite parts about Three Houses, and what let me down most with Engage, is how beloved characters went on to form fandoms all their own. We obsessed not just about their looks, but the people they were away from combat and how our character could grow closer to them over the course of an entire playthrough. I haven’t even played the game yet, and I’ve already written an entire article about a sexy, gun-wielding nun, so chances are it’s going to deliver on what the last game lacked. We stan this diva.
