While the Duelist offers a swordswoman who can perform consistent counters as she swaps between different combat stances, the Runaway introduces a brand-new burn mechanic to damage your enemies over time. Both characters will expand your character roster by 1, preventing you from not having enough space to add them to your team. In addition to the new characters, you'll also be able to unlock and collect various game-changing Trinkets, which add new mechanics that offer powerful limited-time effects or ones that will change as you use them throughout your various expeditions. Lastly, the DLC adds numerous new town events and 3 brand-new districts for you to unlock and visit in your hamlet. The three locations you'll be able to visit are the Academie Duello, the Craftworks, and the Archaeological Base Camp, which each have their own Bounties, Heirlooms, Trinkets, and unique buffs that can be applied to your roster of brave adventurers.
