As if the Redux releases weren't enough, the developers of the Metro series are bringing us another edition of both Metro 2033 Redux and Metro Last Light Redux through a next-generation update. As announced on the official MetroVideoGame X account, the updates bring a heap of new features that offer the perfect chance to jump into the iconic post-apocalyptic franchise for the first time, or revisit with another unforgettable playthrough. Everything Included In Metro's Next-Gen Update To celebrate the franchise having sold a total of 50 million copies, the two next-generation updates are being offered entirely free for anyone who owns Metro 2033 Redux or Metro Last Light Redux, meaning all you have to do is update the game to get access to the new editions on October 22 for PC, and October 29 for consoles.
