It feels a little strange to say, but Grand Theft Auto 6 will finally release in less than two months. We've already seen quite a lot of the game, thanks to both official and unofficial sources, but Rockstar still has a lot of bragging to do about the game's world before the game's empty physical editions start to hit store shelves this November. To do this, it's enlisted the help of Game Informer, which recently released a new article full of newly revealed details about GTA 6's version of Vice City, and just how detailed it's going to be. GTA 6 Will Quite Literally Blow You Away Screenshot provided by Rockstar There's quite a lot to unpack in the article, but one of the more interesting reveals is that GTA 6's weather system seems to be one of the most impressive that Rockstar has ever created. For example, the game includes a dynamic wind system that will create updrafts, include sunset breezes, and is dynamic enough to make litter swirl around and blow the hair of whichever character you play. That weather system also extends to traditional weather too, as Rockstar has confirmed that both hurricanes and tropical storms will take place in GTA 6. These are naturally accompanied by torrential downpours, gusting winds, and heavy clouds, along with potential thunder and lightning, while the world around you will react to that weather, with water pouring off rooftops and down gutters. Outside the weather, this article has also revealed that GTA 6 will feature over 170 different animal species, some completely new to Rockstar, with 60+ bird species and 30+ land mammals. A selection of these animals include manatees, flamingos, pelicans, and Florida's ever present alligators.NPCs will also have a ludicrous amount of detail, with each one rocking a different hairstyle, weight, and height. Their weight can be in different areas of their bodies too, making for a very varied and realistic populace. Some of them may also be rocking tattoos, different facial hair, and all sorts of other identifiers to make them unique.It all sounds extremely impressive, and I'm sure we'll see plenty of clips of Lucia and Jason driving down the street with a hurricane blowing. It's very exciting, and makes that less than two month wait all the more painful, so lets hope that Rockstar shows off some of these systems in the actual game before release.
