European giant rocked as ‘entire board RESIGNS at emergency meeting’ following disastrous result

THE entire FK Partizan board have resigned after the club lost its third game in a row. Serbian giants Partizan are sitting 12th in the league after five matches with just one win after going down 3-1 to Mladost Lucani on Sunday. Spaniards Getafe won the first game 3-1 last week and Ilic will remain to try and turn things around. And other key members will be out no matter what the result is – including president Rasim Ljajic. He held an EMERGENCY meeting with general director Danko Lazovic and Ilic after the Mladost defeat. Head of football Radosav Petrovic was also there and is set to exit as well. A statement confirmed: “The FK Partizan Management Board takes full responsibility for the results achieved.” Elections for the next leadership team will be held between September 21 and 25 during the extended international break. They have won 16 domestic cups as well and are historic rivals to the country’s biggest side, Red Star Belgrade. But after finishing third last season, they have already lost four times in all competition this time round. Partizan are just three points above bottom and have already had two red cards.
