Vagar is the only commercial airport in the Faroes, so flying to another one was not an option. Poznan were forced to fly into the Faroes today, but the bad fog persisted. It was so bad that their plane was forced to stay in a holding pattern off the coast of Norway. Poznan would briefly have to pit stop in Bergen before once again attempting the journey. And much to their relief, they eventually touched down at Vagar Airport at 3.30pm. Poznan’s delayed arrival has led the match to be pushed back to 20:45pm.
