Eufy’s New Window-Sticking Security Camera Is a Peeping Tom for the Outside World

Anker’s Eufy announced some new security cameras at IFA 2026, including the new Video Doorbell S4 and what could be one of my favorite new home security devices, the Eufy Window Camera E10. The Window Camera E10 is pretty much what it sounds like: a camera designed for apartment dwellers and anyone else who can’t just drill holes on the outside of their house to install cameras. In fact, you don’t even install it outdoors; it sticks to the interior side of your windows, looking out at the world. It’s similar to something like the Wyze Window Security Camera, but with a 25-degree adjustable tilt. Eufy says its new camera features “anti-reflection optics” to deal with reflections and glare. Anker Window Camera E10. © Eufy The Window Camera E10 is powered via USB-C, which is a bit of a bummer if you were hoping for a battery-powered thing and don’t want a cable dangling off of your window. It records 2.5K video, stores footage locally on a microSD that’s not included (supports up to 256GB), and features on-device person, pet, vehicle, and noise detection. Unfortunately for some smart home users, it only works with Google Home and Amazon Alexa. All the same, it’s a fun idea and, as an apartment dweller myself, I’m interested in seeing how well it works in practice. That’s key to one of its features: a “VR Mode” that lets you tilt your phone while looking at footage to see around the fisheye image it would produce, like looking around an 180-degree video while wearing a VR headset. I can’t decide if that’s a very silly feature or very cool—I could imagine at least wanting to hunt for my delivered packages using that. The Doorbell S4 supports solar, battery, and wired power, and connects to your Wi-Fi network using either the 2.4GHz or 5GHz band. It has built-in human, face, and package detection, and works with Alexa, Google Home, and, if you have a Eufy HomeBase 3, Apple Home. It also features color night vision and supports 24/7 recording. It has 64GB of built-in storage, but that doesn’t seem to be expandable via something like microSD cards. Pricing and availability The Window Camera E10 will be available for $70 sometime later this year, while the Video Doorbell S4 is coming in late September for $300 and includes its own chime. That’s pricey compared to something similarly subscription-free, like the $150 Reolink Battery Video Doorbell (2nd gen), but hey, maybe that VR Mode will be cool enough to justify it for some people.
