Kknekki is a brand developed by Dooji CEO Cho Hyun-tae, with Cho developing custom-made ones for Haaland to wear. The Manchester City striker selects his hair tie for the game based on what kit he is wearing. Most read in Sport Cho entered the European market in 2015 by signing a licence agreement with Norwegian company Bon Dep. Haaland is actually a minority owner of Bon Dep having invested in the company in April 2024. And after seeing Haaland wear the Kknekki band at the World Cup, business has boomed to the point that they have made record sales. Unfortunately for the Norway star, their tournament came to an end in the quarter-finals after a 2-1 defeat to England.
