Eric McCormack Set For Nimisha Mukerji’s Psychological Drama ‘You’re Safe Now’

EXCLUSIVE: Will & Grace Emmy winner Eric McCormack is starring in You’re Safe Now, a psychological drama from writer Jess Mastro (Underrated) and director Nimisha Mukerji (Under The Bridge, 911).McCormack joins Anja Savcic (Loudermilk), Jesse Rath (Supergirl) and Bo Martynowska (Nancy Drew) in the cast.A character-driven psychological drama, You’re Safe Now is an aching portrait of loneliness, mortality and the monstrous forms love can take. Production is taking place in Toronto. McCormack played Will Truman for 246 episodes on NBC’s Will & Grace and was nominated for multiple awards, winning the Emmy for Lead Actor in a Comedy in 2001. He most recently starred in MGM+/Sony Studios Nine Dead Bodies in a Mexican Morgue, as well as the Hulu series The Other Black Girl. The recipient of a star on Canada’s Walk of Fame and the Hollywood Walk of Fame, McCormack has played lead roles in dozens of films and TV series, including Netflix hit, Travelers, where he also served as a director and producer, Trust Me, and TNT’s Perception.
