Fulham's preseason match against Málaga turned out to be not too friendly after the English club walked off and coach Álvaro Arbeloa was shown a red card for complaining to the referees.The match had finished 2-2, after the La Liga side Málaga FC equalised in the 90th minute.At full-time, the Premier League outfit walked off the pitch while Málaga stayed on, believing a penalty shootout should decide the winner.Malaga striker Jauregi then kicked a penalty into an open net before celebrating in front of the home fans.In a post on X, Fulham said both teams had agreed before the match that no penalty shootout would follow a draw."We can confirm that prior to the match, both teams agreed that there would not be a penalty shootout in the event of a draw," Fulham wrote on X.On their club website, Malaga said it believed a shootout was on the cards."Although a penalty shootout had been scheduled, Fulham left the pitch, claiming that a shootout had not been included in the contract," the La Liga club said.
