Enzo Maresca lands first Man City win as £47m star shines but he could be immediately dumped for World Cup hero

The lively Antoine Semenyo and Rico Lewis combined delightfully as the Ghanaian slipped a pass through to Reijnders who finished emphatically. The Netherlands international had some impressive performances in his debut season in England – but they did not come around often enough. If he stays, Maresca will want to see more decisive displays like this. A couple of minutes later, Semenyo’s shot was pushed away but there was Divin Mubama – who also scored against Inter on Saturday – to poke home the loose ball.
