Debi Mazar has claimed she was body-shamed on the set of her hit TV show Entourage when she returned to work after having her second baby.Mazar, 62, played Shauna Roberts on the HBO show, the sharp-tongued publicist of protagonist Vincent Chase, played by Adrian Grenier.She appeared in all eight seasons from the show's debut in 2004 until its finale in 2011 and reprised her role for the movie spinoff in 2015.Whilst the show served as one of her biggest acting role to date, Mazar has recalled her experience on set was 'complicated'. 'Season one was a joy-fest. But in the third season, the set was a testosterone-fuelled environment,' she said.Mazar explained how it was after the birth of her second daughter Giulia in 2006 that she became 'discontented' with how she was treated at work. The actress previously spoke about the 'misogynistic' set in a 2020 interview with Entertainment Weekly, explaining 'with TV, you don't know what they're going to write. I took a job to make money.''[Creator Doug Ellin] wrote a really strong character, but that set was very testosterone-driven and misogynistic.'Whenever Mazar was having a particularly hard day on set, she says she would 'just go into Shauna mode, and go 'You know what, f**k you bye.''Mazar shares two daughters Evelina, 24, and Giulia, 20, with her husband, chef Gabriele Corcos and now splits her time between the family home in Tuscany and her acting jobs in the US. Her career as an actress came alongside her close and long-running friendship with Madonna.The pair met back in the 1980s in an elevator at New York's famous club Danceteria where Debi was working as an operator and instantly hit it off.
