According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter want to sign Spence as their replacement for Real Madrid-bound Denzel Dumfries. They add that Spence “truly wants” the move – but that it will depend on how much Tottenham demand. Inter are said to be willing to fork out around £30million on the 25-year-old. Should Spurs ask for more following Spence’s impressive World Cup, Inter may struggle to complete a deal. Spence, who signed for Tottenham four years ago today, is under contract with the North Londoners for another three years, with the option for a further season. Underwhelming loans at Rennes and Leeds followed, before a more productive stint with Italian side Genoa. In the summer of 2024, Spence managed to earn a place in Ange Postecoglou‘s plans for the following season. And following a slew of first team injuries that winter, he was finally granted a chance to show what he could do. Spence has played 85 times for Tottenham in total, including a late cameo in their victorious Europa League final in 2025.
