The star, who signed for Harlequins in the summer, was making his first appearance for the North London club before being knocked out just moments after kick-off. Furbank’s latest setback comes after a long run of injuries. He was recently ruled out of England‘s Rugby Nations Championship opener against South Africa with appendicitis.. He’s also endured arm, calf and knee issues in previous years, as well as concussion during that time. The 29-year-old, who has made 14 appearances for England, is now set for more time on the sidelines. He made just 25 appearances in the last two seasons for old club Northampton Saints, with this summer’s move being seen as a fresh start.
