England legend Rio Ferdinand and wife Kate sign up for I’m A Celeb’s Canada spin-off in big money deal

EX-FOOTIE star Rio Ferdinand and wife Kate have become the first married couple to sign up for ITV’s widely-hyped I’m A Celeb spin-off show. The pair are in the final stages of negotiating a big-money deal to join a raft of celebrities to begin filming I’m A Celebrity: Wild Frontier in Canada next month. It will be the first time viewers have really seen Rio away from football chat, too. “ITV are still in talks with some other brilliant names and this show promises to be absolutely spectacular — and a real social media talker.” Former Westlife and Boyzone stars Brian McFadden and Keith Duffy have reportedly each signed a £100,000 deal to appear in the programme, which airs next year. Rio and ex-Towie reality TV star Kate’s deal is likely to dwarf that. News of this latest version of the hugely popular Bafta-winning series comes three months after the explosive finale of the South African version.
