ENGLAND fans have gone spare over five of the players left out of Thomas Tuchel’s squad. The Three Lions boss caused a stir with several inclusions and exclusions when the 27-man group for a quartet of upcoming Nations League fixtures was revealed on Friday morning. The Nottingham Forest ace has started the new campaign with three goal contributions in his first four league games, but Tuchel is yet to be swayed. One fan moaned on X: “What does Gibbs-White have to do?????” And another added: “What does Gibbs-White do wrong that Tuchel hates so much? Score too many goals?” Jarrod Bowen is another player many would like to have seen called up. The 29-year-old has stuck with West Ham in the second-tier and racked up 10 goal contributions in as many games across all competitions so far this term. New Crystal Palace boss Pierre Sage has already seen enough to label him an “incredible player”. And one fan posted a mind blown emoji on X along with the message: “No Wharton again?” Phil Foden has been given plenty of game time by Manchester City boss Enzo Maresca this season – even if he is yet to rediscover his best form. The 26-year-old, who has two assists in the league, has not done enough to get back in Tuchel’s good books, but some are still baffled that a player with his talent is not in the mix.
