ACTRESS Helen George became emotional as she candidly opened up on the “pretty s**t” aftermath of her split with boyfriend Dan Innes. Just seconds into the first of their spiritual shows, Helen, 42, who went public with Dan, 52, in March 2025, admitted to having “a really rubbish day”. Sign up for the TV newsletter Thank you! Letting out a small laugh, the screen and stage performer continued: “It’s been a week”. Her co-star confirmed: “There’s been tears, there’s been voice notes with lots of tears,” before Helen reiterated: “There have been voicenotes, there’s been lots of tears”. Later in the podcast, the BBC favourite read out a listeners’ message in which she told of the value of spiritual readings for “accepting yourself and know that you’re not damaged, broken or behind in life”. Her wording appeared to strike a chord with Helen, who broke down in tears. Most read in Showbiz Looking said, she said of spiritual readings: “That’s why they go to them, in really s**t times they give you hope”. Yvette then performed a tarot card reading for Helen, during which she was asked to place three cards face down on the table. Reading one, she said “You’ve got some challenges ahead, you know. Challenges are good, they make you grow”. Helen gave another nod to her tricky circumstance and replied: “Babe, don’t you think I’ve had enough challenge”. Yvette then said: “I do feel like with you, Hels, I feel like you’re getting your power back. “I feel like you’re such a strong, powerful, amazing woman, and sometimes, can I say, you lose that power a little bit. “And we lose you, and we go, ‘we’ve lost Hels, but she’ll come back.’ “And then you do come back”. In January, we reported how Dan had moved in with the mum-of-two. Yet things turned sour this summer, with Helen posting a variety of cryptic quotes in the aftermath. One in particular read: “I absolutely take responsibility for when I am wrong. “But I will never apologise for responding to disrespect. “If you lit the match, do not stand in the flames pretending to be the victim”. At the time, a source told us: “Helen and Dan have gone their separate ways. “They had a whirlwind romance but their differences became apparent. “It has been a difficult time for them both.” 1 comment1
