Janney took home the trophy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series, beating out fellow nominees Taylor Dearden (The Pitt), Fiona Dourif (The Pitt), Katherine LaNasa (The Pitt), Sepideh Moafi (The Pitt), Julianne Nicholson (Paradise) and Karolina Wydra (Pluribus) for the honor. And The Help alum's astonished facial reaction immediately after the win—her eighth Emmy to date—perfectly illustrated just how unprepared she was to take the stage. "This is not what I planned for this category at all," the 66-year-old said during her acceptance speech. "I’m very surprised and very, very grateful to be here." While she loves working with her longtime friend, she has some boundaries for how far she'll go in their new roles as onscreen spouses. "I said, Debora, do not write any bedroom scenes, please," Janney said during Live from E!: 2026 Emmys. "She did write one. We were in a fight, and we got into bed and just curled up, snuggled. But you know, that's about as far as I want to go with that."
